Choosing a stone is a conversation, not a warehouse lookup

Every stone is photographed on the same neutral backdrop, under the same light, with no colour correction applied to the stone. Catalogue images are cut out along the contour so the studio backdrop does not blend its own cast into the stone — that backdrop is exactly why neighbouring cards in ordinary catalogues look different in tone.

If a stone changes noticeably under warm evening light, we say so in the description and send additional video. This applies most often to spinel and tourmaline.

Characteristics

Weight is measured, not copied from a delivery note. Colour and cut are named from fact. Where we hold no confirmed data — on origin, treatment or dimensions — the listing reads “to be confirmed”.

That is deliberate. A plausible “Sri Lanka” that nobody can verify is worth less than the trust of a buyer who one day checks.

Settings

A stone is rarely needed on its own. We connect it with a jeweller, help discuss the seat, the metal and the shape of the setting, and where needed find a second stone to match or accompany it.

Viewing and payment

Stones can be viewed in Moscow by arrangement. We hold a reservation until an agreed date. Payment and delivery are agreed per listing — there is deliberately no checkout on the site yet: at this volume, manual confirmation is more reliable.
